Proverbs 3:5-6 (NASB)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.

Hello Dearest Friends,

The Lord has such amazing journeys for each of us. I am humbled to see the steps He lays before me. I have been very silent on my blogs. We spent the Summer traveling mainly for my Sweet Husband’s work and to help a family member. And we also spent the Summer dealing with a series of health scares.

The travel for work and to help a family member (which was really more blessing for us than them) kept us busy. Then a simple annual physical went very much wrong…or at least that is what the world would say (and as did we initially).

I am continuing to learn that the Lord is in control and has us go through experiences to teach us and grow us for His glory!! So with three cancer scares and a potentially serious heart issues and many dollars later…the Lord is and has always been in control. The three cancer scares were negative…all glory to God!! And the heart issues still must be addressed. There was another autoimmune issue that was discovered. Which yes that is another very serious concern, but it did answer so many questions from previous illnesses. I am slowly and prayerfully working through this new part of the journey and another benefit…more prayer time with the Lord!! 🙂 God still reigns and has a plan in place!!

One thing the Lord used for good was the opportunity to meet and hopefully be the light of Christ to many I would have never had a chance to meet. Another good thing was I learned to “stand up or stand firm” in situations that were…well for lack of a better word…bad. I also had to remember not all doctors are good choices and even some doctors teeter on a fine line of not moral and potential unethical practices. And finally, the Lord revealed who was truly there to support me and my health. Who really listens and is there to help/defend for the best possible care and plan for the future. What a blessing!!!

So with all this It was the Summer of travel and medical. 🙂 Sometimes our plans are not His plans. Sometimes people who do things and mean things for bad, God uses for His purposes which is always for good. And what a blessing to meet so many along the way. And not only did I in some way get the opportunity to encourage…I was greatly encouraged!!

What a mighty God we serve!!

Keep serving Him well Dearest Friends,

k
