Sunday Encouragements…

sky pic 1Hello Dear Friends,

I pray you all are having a wonderful weekend in the Lord. I am humbled to see all He does in each of our lives. What a wonderful blessing to seek and serve Him. With lots and lots of different things going on in all our busy lives…it is good to slow down and truly enjoy the Word.

Our family has been blessed to study the book of Galatians in our Bible study. The Lord is so wonderful to teach us new and fresh lessons each time we are blessed to study His Word!! I feel as if I am overflowing at times with the lessons I am learning!! What an amazing God we serve!!

We are now embarking on the book of Ephesians. So today my Sweet Husband took our family through the introduction after church. Later as all my Sweet Family took naps, the Lord allowed me some quiet time to prepare my study and read Ephesians in its entirety. What an encouragement!! Paul has such good teachings for the believers in each of his letters.

One of the amazing encouragements I have received by Paul’s ministry is his focus on the Lord. He lived, ate and breathed Jesus Christ. He did all with that in mind. He also did a wonderful job of loving and encouraging the church!! What a blessing to have this example of a Godly servant.

May we all this week have a focus on nothing else but Christ.

Colossians 3:2

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.

And may we serve as if unto the Lord!!

Colossians 3:23-24

Amplified Bible (AMP)

23 Whatever may be your task, work at it heartily (from the soul), as [something done] for the Lord and not for men,

24 Knowing [with all certainty] that it is from the Lord [and not from men] that you will receive the inheritance which is your [real] reward. [The One Whom] you are actually serving [is] the Lord Christ (the Messiah).

There is one body and one Spirit to whom we serve as Ephesians tells us.

Ephesians 4:4-6

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.

Please let us remember to edify, love and pray for our fellow believers. And let us go out and be a light of Christ to all we meet. That they would know there is different in our lives…they would know us by our love.

John 13:35

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

35 By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

So in love I am re-encouraging each of us to serve as we have been instructed to do by the Word.

What a mighty God we serve!

My prayers are with each of you,

k xoxo
